Why You Should Attend Octoberfest at Springhill Farm

This fall, you should consider taking a drive outside of Tallahassee. At Springhill Farm, you can celebrate the seasonal change with an exciting event. Their Octoberfest event draws hundreds of people each weekend. After seven years of hosting the event, Springhill Farm has perfected Octoberfest.

About Octoberfest

The event takes place at the historic farm and won’t be short on fun. There will be a tall corn maze that’s sure to leave you stumped. In the past, the maze has made a beautiful pattern when looked at from above. You can also pick the perfect pumpkin and launch it across a field with a trebuchet.

Other fun activities include gold panning, corn pool wading, and pumpkin painting. A bounce house lets the kids get out some of their energy. The farm has horse riding for the kids with the same horses each year. So, your kids can pick their favorite and ride the same one next year.

If you go in the evenings, you can enjoy a spooky twist. There’s a haunted hayride and maze. Between 8pm and 11pm on the Friday and Saturday before Halloween, you can enjoy the scary activities.

There will also be food available for purchase. The farm will smoke pulled pork and serve up some delicious barbecue.

Visiting the Farm

If you’re interested in attending, visit the farm any Saturday or Sunday in October. Tickets are $8 for adults and $10 for kids.
