About Poor Paul’s Pourhouse

Cheering with Beers

It’s been said that Poor Paul’s is the oldest bar in Tallahassee to still have the same owner. Although the bar has changed over the past few decades, the atmosphere has remained unchanged. It was and still is a great place to go and relax for a few drinks or a meal.

Whenever you visit the bar, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff, low prices, and great drinks. In fact, it’s regarded as one of the most affordable bars in town. On Tuesday, women can enjoy $1 drafts and $1 well drinks. Every Sunday and Monday, you can get free Gumby’s pizza with $4.95 pitchers of beer.

While beer is one of the more popular drinks at this establishment, Poor Paul’s Pourhouse does have a full bar. No matter what night of the week you visit, you won’t have a cover charge. Admission is always free. As you drink, enjoy playing one of more than 20 board games. Or, test your skills on the pool table or dart board.

Every day, the bar opens up at 3pm and closes at 2am. This includes holidays, so you can always count on them being open. If you have a Tallahassee apartment, be sure to stop by this legendary spot.
