When it comes to events in Tallahassee, there’s no shortage. In October, it’s the time of year for one of the more family-friendly events. The Tallahassee Science Festival takes place on Saturday, October 19th. All of the excitement begins at 10 am and ends at 2 pm.

About the Tallahassee Science Festival

In 2018, there were 110 exhibits at the Tallahassee Science Festival. Scientists from all over the Tallahassee area came together to demonstrate their work. There were robots, demos, and much more on display. This year’s event will be similar. With hands-on exhibits, the festival is fun for kids. They can learn about technology, science, math, and engineering. After a scavenger hunt, children will have an opportunity to win a prize or two.

But the event isn’t only for the children. Adults also enjoy the many fun exhibits. In this year’s festival, there will be an emphasis on STEM careers and STEM Entrepreneurs. The college will be showcasing how they help individuals who want a STEM career.

The event will take place at Kleman Plaza and TCC Center for Innovation. If you haven’t taken the time to visit Tallahassee Community College, this festival is the perfect opportunity to do so. The college isn’t only for kids who have just graduated from high school. It’s for anyone who wants to better themselves.
