Tallahassee Events: Legends of Hip Hop

The music scene in Tallahassee is alive and well, and the Legends of Hip Hop confirms it. As one of the largest musical Tallahassee events, Legends of Hip Hop features an incredible lineup of musicians. Find out who will be performing at the unique event.

When Is it?

Legends of Hip Hop occurs on October 5th. This one of the fun Tallahassee events takes place at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

What Is It?

The Legends of Hip Hop is exactly what you might imagine. It’s an opportunity to listen to some truly legendary hip hop artists. Here’s a closer look at the performers:

Juvenile:

This artist released his debut album in 1995, when he was at the young age of 19. In 1998, his album 400 Degreez made him a popular mainstream artist. Several of his songs made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Scarface:

This artist was popular after the release of his album, Mr. Scarface is back. Released in 1991, the album was the start of a popular career. He went on to win a Lyricist of the Year Award in 2001 at the Source Awards.

Trick Daddy:

This artist had a hit single in 2004 with “Let’s Go.” It reached number four on Hot Rap Tricks and ranked highly in several other charts. Since then, he’s partnered with other mainstream artists, like Pitbull and Lil Jon.
