What is the Mission San Luis?
The Mission San Luis is a historical attraction that brings you back to a time from centuries ago. Back in 1703, the site was a place where the Apalachee Indians and Spaniards lived side by side.
There were over 1,400 people living in the Mission centuries ago. Steeped in history, the site was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1960. Since then, it has been reconstructed to its full glory. Today, it is a living history museum.
