The Water
Camel Lake Recreation Area is one of the clearest lakes you’ll see in Florida, or anywhere else for that matter. But there are other lakes as well. Silver Lake has the largest recreation area in the park. Around the lake, you can see large pine and cypress trees. There are 45 picnic tables as well as a small white sand beach. If you want to get in some exercise, you can walk along the interpretive trail.
The Camping

If you really want to get close to nature, do some camping. Camel Lake has ten sites that are appropriate for both RVs and tents. Wright Lake has 18 sites available, and has more amenities. There are tent pads, fire rings, and picnic tables. Meanwhile, Porter Lake only has primitive sites

The Hiking
Whether you’re an experienced hiker or someone who doesn’t own a pair of hiking boots, you can enjoy this forest. There are over 80 miles of backpacking trails. Additionally, there are six interpretive trails.
The Kayaking
