From June 11th through June 17th, the 2018 US Overall Frisbee Championships will occur in Tallahassee. During the event, there will be seven different Frisbee events.
Disc golf is one of those events, and it’s become quite popular in parks throughout the US. Participants try to throw Frisbee into a small target. Much like golf, the aim of this game is accuracy. Other Frisbee events include self-caught flight, discathon, doubles disc court, distance, and freestyle. In every event, there will be divisions for open, women, and juniors. There will be judges present for each event.
Each event has slightly different goals. For example, accuracy (or Aim) requires an athlete to throw the Frisbee between a square target. However, freestyle is about performing tricks with the Frisbee. At the tournament, you can learn about all of the different styles of Frisbee.
