It’s not often that you get a chance to tour some of North Florida’s most popular farms. On October 13th and 14th, you get an opportunity to head behind-the-scenes of local farms. Check out information about the Tallahassee fall fun that occurs during the New Leaf Market Farm Tour.
About the Farm Tour
For the 11th year, New Leaf Market organized this special event. Many farms in North Florida and South Georgia open their doors for this unique event. Cattle ranches, goat ranches, dairy farms, and wineries all participate.
On the weekend of the event, you can visit a participating farm. There will be farm tours, barnyard animals, and baked goods. However, it’s about more than just viewing the farm. Some of the participating farms offer beekeeping workshops, gardening workshops, and more.
If you attend the event, you get an opportunity to speak with the farmers who grow your food. You can get the answers to all of your farming questions.
New Leaf Market is an organic co-op in Tallahassee. The store brings locally sourced produce to the area. It also is your one-stop shop for organic and wellness products. The market brings together the local community and gives you a chance to support local farmers.
