1. Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park
This state park is a floral masterpiece. In addition to viewing incredibly-designed gardens, you can also view the large reflection pool. There are small lakes and other sights to see as you stroll through the park. If you want to get on the water, there is an option for fishing and boating on Lake Hall.
The North Gulf Coast is a beautiful area. At the Bald Point State Park, you can explore the scenic views and unique nature. Located in Alligator Point, the park features over 4,000 acres of wilderness. Some of the highlights of the park include bald eagle viewing and swimming on the Apalachee Bay beaches.
Cypress Springs is another place to enjoy outdoor Tallahassee activities. Get on a kayak and paddle to the springs. In fact, it’s your only way to get to the springs - there is no land access.
