A 'Must Visit' Tallahassee Attractions for Kids

Located on South Duval Street, the Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee is one of the city’s more unique attractions. If you want to enjoy all of the Tallahassee kids attractions, consider making a trip to the facility.
What Is It?
The Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee is located in Kleman Plaza of downtown Tallahassee. With over 32,000 square feet, the facility is large enough to accommodate groups of all sizes.
They are a youth outreach facility that works with Florida A&M University. By teaching children about space travel in an interactive way, the facility aims to inspire kids to take on careers in math, science, and technology.There is a mission simulator that takes children on a realistic launch into space.
Although the space missions at the facility are for groups, the IMAX theater and Downtown Digital Dome is for everyone. In the dome, you can find a 50 foot planetarium. With movies like Journey to Space, Let it Snow, and Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, the planetarium is fun for all.
The IMAX theater plays action-packed films that make this one of the best Tallahassee kids attractions. Watching a film in 3D is a unique experience that all can enjoy.
